One of the founding principles of Macehiter Ward-Dutton was that in order to reach our goal of being a leading advisory company in our space, we needed to be able to reach as many people as possible with our ideas and findings – and that meant finding ways to make our work as "open" as possible.

Consequently we decided that all our core research reports should be made available, free-of-charge, to anyone who subscribes to our site.

MWD licenses its research under a Creative Commons license

However we felt it was important to go further in our commitment to sharing our experience with our audience, and as a result decided to forego the usual copyright system on these works.

Instead, we license all our core research reports under a Creative Commons license. Specifically, we use the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 England & Wales License.  Unless otherwise indicated on a particular work, this is the license which applies. Please follow the link to learn exactly what this does and doesn't allow you to do.

The "non commercial" aspect of our license means that under this license, you cannot republish our work to support your business (either online or in print). However our terms page provides details of how you can work with us to license a work for commercial use (for example, for reprinting as marketing collateral).
