What role should SaaS play in your BPM strategy?
Today we published a new Strategic Insights report in our BPM advisory service, which examines the emerging trend for BPM technology providers to explore software-as-a-service (SaaS) models for delivering their offerings. If you’re a subscriber to our BPM advisory service, you can read the report here.
When we looked into this topic, we found that in fact there are a couple of different things going on here – it’s not a simple matter of BPM technology being delivered through a SaaS model. Different vendors are taking different approaches, and each approach has its own benefits. We explore them all in this report, providing advice for BPM adopters. The report also profiles the activities of four of the active vendors in this space: Appian, Cordys, Lombardi, and Pegasystems.
We’ve recently published brief “On the Radar” reports covering some of the startups focused in this area, as well – check out our analyses of RunMyProcess and Synchosoft. Those reports are available free of charge in our Guest Pass library.
