Fascinating healthcare BPM case study published today
Thursday, March 5, 2009 by admin
Today we finally published a case study report we’ve been working on in the background for some months, looking at an implementation by University College London Hospitals (UCLH) to address the UK Government’s “18 week referral-to-treatment” National Health Service target.
UCLH and its IT services partner Logica have used Lombardi‘s Teamworks and Blueprint, and their story is really interesting – partly because of the way that Lombardi’s technologies have been integrated with UCLH’s existing applications and systems; and partly because of the cultural and organisational challenges that the team is having to work through as they progress.
As with all our case studies, this report doesn’t just take a quick fly-by of the challenge and focus on the technology implementation: we take in issues related to governance, architecture, strategy, and organisation as well as looking at how the technology was developed and deployed.
The report is only available to our BPM advisory service subscribers, but subscriptions are very cost-effective (you can find out more from this brochure) – and what’s more, you might qualify for a limited-time, free trial.
