Interesting data from market research company Osterman Research relating to IT perspectives on consumer social software tools within the enterprise. The fact that LinkedIn has so much more credibility than Twitter and Facebook (and even more than consumer webmail and IM) despite it too being a public social networking tool (albeit focused on business networking) highlights the confusion around the risks and benefits of these technologies within the enterprise.
