Very interesting attempt to define what a BA might do and where they might fit. Begs the question though – where could they come from? How many organisations could afford to have such people on fulltime payroll?

Answer: a technology implementation method. Not really a BPM method – at least as far as I can see from this. Lean etc may be flawed but they do at least help you think about improvement goals in a structured way.

Great observations from Oracle Fellow. “Lean” is fine but unless you’re smart about the outcome you want, you might end up just being more efficient at doing the wrong thing.
