New and updated – Collaboration comparison tool

Alongside the latest updates to our vendor capability reports, we are pleased to announce an updated version of our online vendor comparison tool (available to advisory customers only). Eight of the nine existing vendors in the tool have been updated against our refreshed scoring model, and two new vendors have also been added – Yammer and IGLOO. You will notice that currently Microsoft’s scores are all set to zero – this because we are still finalising the scores for Microsoft pending some outstanding issues. We will update these to the correct scores as soon as these are available.
The comparison tool provides a way for you to compare collaboration software vendors’ capabilities in a way that is relevant to your organisation, tuning the scoring and rankings according to your own priorities – in terms of weighting particular tools and features, or filtering results based on must-have attributes such as platform dependencies or standards support, for example.
