IT for the agile organisation: on-demand webinar

Last week I took part in a web seminar hosted by the UK’s Computing magazine on the topic of “IT for the agile organisation”. I kicked the event off by talking for a few minutes about the challenges facing IT in industry, and outlining the multiple ways that a couple of business-IT change tools – BPM and SOA programmes – can help organisations become more agile.

The webinar was sponsored by Oracle, and I was followed by a couple of strong Oracle speakers: Gareth Evans (Insight Program Director) and Barry O’Reilly (Director, BPM Solutions).

The event overall lasts around an hour: you can access it from here (access requires signup but that’s free). I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

I enjoyed taking part so much that I asked if there were any others I could do: so on December 2nd I’m taking part in another, this time focused on “Tomorrow’s IT Leaders”. You can find details of that upcoming event here.
