BPM, Business and IT: What It Really Takes to Collaborate

Friday, September 3, 2010 by

Later this month (Sept 16th to be precise) I’m going to be presenting a webinar on the above topic, courtesy of Active Endpoints. The subject is one I’m very passionate about: how organisations can best set themselves up to maximise their chances of success with BPM by working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.

As the introduction says:

Much of the excitement about business process management (BPM) comes from the realisation that it can change how business users and IT experts work together to design and implement process applications. And, much of the trepidation about BPM comes from this same realization.

On Thursday 16 September, MWD Advisors Research Director Neil Ward-Dutton and Active Endpoints CTO Michael Rowley will present “What It Really Takes to Collaborate,” in which they will explore the organisational, cultural and technical elements that combine to create successful BPM deployments.

I’ll be using some of our case study research to help highlight some of the critical success factors that keep turning up. I’m followed by Active Endpoints’ CTO, Michael Rowley.

The webinar is live from 1pm Eastern Time (that’s 10am Pacific, and 6pm UK time) and it’s free – you can register here. It’d be great to see you there!
