The challenges of delivering User-Centred Software Services
synopsis
Everyone knows that we are now living in an age where the Internet has fundamentally altered the reach and nature of our social and business interactions and transactions. And of course, we all know that it is software that has been the key technology enabler of the digital revolution. What's only gradually becoming more well-known, though, is that software is not only the enabler of this revolution: the nature of software itself is changing, reflecting changes in markets, consumer behaviour and the capabilities of digital infrastructure. This report examines the software delivery issues that IT organisations need to address if they are to start delivering compelling, "user-centred" software services that take advantage of the capabilities of today’s digital infrastructure.
